Silent Retreats at Amethyst

Silent Retreat is a signature offering for Amethyst and is a gift we give ourselves to restore peace and clarity. Retreats are offered each year, typically in the Spring and Fall. Each retreat day is designed to move you gradually through a process which builds a quiet mind, peace and clarity. The world is noisy, sometimes toxic and it’s not always possible to easily pull ourselves up. Over time, stress manifests into too much thinking, excess doing, anger, anxiety, depression and low energy.

Don’t worry if you’ve never tried a silent retreat. The day is well organized, and our facilitators will guide the way. You will move easily through four facilitated group sessions alternated with three of your own personal retreat times, each lasting about 60 minutes. You will be silent for the day.

LUNCH: Lunch is included and is prepared with local, fresh, and organic foods when possible. Lunch options include Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten Free dishes. Special dietary needs can be accommodated but please email us at amethystretreatspace@gmail.com to explain your dietary sensitivities.

WHAT TO BRING (You must be preregistered to attend):

  • Your Journal

  • Refillable Water Bottle

  • Pillow and blanket to be used in the afternoon in one of our group sessions (leave this in the car when you arrive)
