When? Our volunteer day times throughout January and February will be Wednesdays from 1-4PM. Please join us at 1 if possible, no RSVP needed.

Important Note: During the months of January and February we will not be doing our usual potluck dinner; however, we plan to continue this in March. An announcement will be made to keep everyone informed of any changes in our hours and plans.
Where? We gather at the Main House at Amethyst Retreat Center: 44 Buffalo Creek Rd, Duncannon PA
What kind of work will we do? During the slower months of January and February we will be focusing on cleaning the first floor of the retreat house, deep cleaning the whole house, organizing, repainting, and other minor repair projects inside the Main House. Some outdoor work may occasionally be needed. Our volunteer day host(s) will help set you up with tasks based on what is needed and what feels the most fulfilling for you.
What to bring?
•Bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated.
•Please bring a snack to share if you wish.
IN THE CASE OF SNOW: If there is a major snow storm or hazardous driving conditions, we will cancel volunteer day and resume the following week. Cancellations will be added as a banner on the top of the volunteer page if they need to be made. Visit Page
